Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Enrollment. All Title IV schools that are eligible to participate in the Direct Loan or Family Federal Education Loan programs must enroll to receive electronic cohort default rate notification (eCDR) through SAIG. In addition, once enrolled in SAIG, schools may access many other valuable and necessary Title IV services electronically.
Self Assessment. FSA provides several self-assessment modules to help schools enhance their administration of the FSA programs. An assessment module specifically focusing on default management strategies is available in the Schools category of the FSA Assessments Website.
Quality Analysis Tool. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of your school's student aid verification process using the Quality Analysis Tool. Verification improves program integrity and may reduce the risk of student loan default by ensuring the correct financial aid awards are being made to eligible students.
Direct Loans. Direct Loan schools will find a wealth of helpful material on the Direct Loan Website. Select the 'Info for Financial Aid Professionals' icon to learn about the Direct Loan resources available to your school.
